Body: I found Hawaiianshirtstore easy to deal with. They have a very nice selection. The stitching on the shirts could have been better in places. The first set of shirts were a little big. I asked Hawaiianshirtstore to send me an e-mail when the purchase amount was put back into my credit card on the returned items. As of today, I still havent gotten an answer. I have had problems with this in the past where I was charged twice for the same items with another vendor. I dont think asking for a verification is an unreasonable request when past experience has produced negative results.

Body: The shirts are beautiful and very reasonably priced compared to the competition. I ordered two shirts, one for my brother and one for me. We carefully checked the size charts on their site before ordering. Because the shirts were 100% cotton, we ordered one size larger than we normally would have ordered. As soon as I took mine out of the box, I could tell it was not going to fit. In fact, I normally would wear a medium, I ordered a large, and I couldnt even button it. I had to send it back and order a 2XL. My brothers shirt was the same way. He would normally wear an XL. We ordered a 2XL for him. He sent it back to get a 4XL. They must get a lot of returns. Their sizes and their size charts on their web site do not reflect reality. It is an inconvenience and an extra expense to have to return the shirts. This just happened so we are still waiting for the new shirts to arrive.

Two items which their shopping screen allowed me to select (add to cart!) turned out to be unavailable but a quick exchange of e-mails sorted this out easily. My only surprise was a call from fedex (the delivery company) to say that the order (some hawaiian shirts) was held at british customs waiting for an import tax payment of 27% of the cost of the order. Not their fault but I had not been expecting such a large additional charge. The shop site says that the buyer is responsible for any taxes, but I had no way of finding out how much. Fedex accepted a mastercard payment (with an extra £5 handling charge!) but the shirts were still worth it. They were well packaged and arrived in first class condition, probably faster than if I had ordered them from a store down the road. In spite of the unexpected surcharge, they were still good value and I would not hesitate to use this firm again.

Buying the product was no problem. Good, prompt service. Unfortunately the boxer shorts I got (six pairs) are not exactly as expected. They are 100% cotton, but feel a little like very thin paper. Also quite annoying is the fly opening. Ive always worn boxer shorts but Ive never had shorts that felt uncomfortable like these. Something about the fly opening design.. The material on the inside around the opening bunches up and rubs. I was thinking on my walk today that I would sew the inside folded material tight to the shorts (my previous boxers have this double layer sewn to the shorts - I think they maybe overlooked this...) I like the (great) colors and designs, and am willing to try this, and I am hopeful that a dozen washings will soften and thicken the material. I would rather not return them. See if it works.... Body: I found Hawaiianshirtstore easy to deal with. They have a very nice selection. The stitching on the shirts could have been better in places. The first set of shirts were a little big. I asked Hawaiianshirtstore to send me an e-mail when the purchase amount was put back into my credit card on the returned items. As of today, I still havent gotten an answer. I have had problems with this in the past where I was charged twice for the same items with another vendor. I dont think asking for a verification is an unreasonable request when past experience has produced negative results.

Body: The shirts are beautiful and very reasonably priced compared to the competition. I ordered two shirts, one for my brother and one for me. We carefully checked the size charts on their site before ordering. Because the shirts were 100% cotton, we ordered one size larger than we normally would have ordered. As soon as I took mine out of the box, I could tell it was not going to fit. In fact, I normally would wear a medium, I ordered a large, and I couldnt even button it. I had to send it back and order a 2XL. My brothers shirt was the same way. He would normally wear an XL. We ordered a 2XL for him. He sent it back to get a 4XL. They must get a lot of returns. Their sizes and their size charts on their web site do not reflect reality. It is an inconvenience and an extra expense to have to return the shirts. This just happened so we are still waiting for the new shirts to arrive.

Body: I found them to be very helpful and delivery was very quick. Two items which their shopping screen allowed me to select (add to cart!) turned out to be unavailable but a quick exchange of e-mails sorted this out easily. My only surprise was a call from fedex (the delivery company) to say that the order (some hawaiian shirts) was held at british customs waiting for an import tax payment of 27% of the cost of the order. Not their fault but I had not been expecting such a large additional charge. The shop site says that the buyer is responsible for any taxes, but I had no way of finding out how much. Fedex accepted a mastercard payment (with an extra £5 handling charge!) but the shirts were still worth it. They were well packaged and arrived in first class condition, probably faster than if I had ordered them from a store down the road. In spite of the unexpected surcharge, they were still good value and I would not hesitate to use this firm again.

Buying the product was no problem. Good, prompt service. Unfortunately the boxer shorts I got (six pairs) are not exactly as expected. They are 100% cotton, but feel a little like very thin paper. Also quite annoying is the fly opening. Ive always worn boxer shorts but Ive never had shorts that felt uncomfortable like these. Something about the fly opening design.. The material on the inside around the opening bunches up and rubs. I was thinking on my walk today that I would sew the inside folded material tight to the shorts (my previous boxers have this double layer sewn to the shorts - I think they maybe overlooked this...) I like the (great) colors and designs, and am willing to try this, and I am hopeful that a dozen washings will soften and thicken the material. I would rather not return them. See if it works.... I like this store. I have purchased from them before and have always been satisfied. I always check them out when shopping for Hawaiian shirts. When my eleven year old son wears their shirts to school, he gets compliments. FYI: I purchased these shirts to take on my cruise to the Bahamas, St. Thomas, and St. Marten. I have just returned and thought you might enjoy a comment that was made to me in the Bahamas, while wearing one of your shirts: I was standing outside the straw market, when a guy walks by from behind, lightly flicks my shirt sleeve, and says, "Nice Hawaiian!" as he continued to walk on by. I was so caught off-guard, I could hardly get the words, "Thank you" out before he was gone. It made my day to know that someone noticed my new Hawaiian shirt.
